Bought as surprise Xmas present for hubby so it’s wrapped up and not being used yet. Was delivered in a couple of days nicely packaged. Watch looks brand new and charging cable included which also looks brand new. Bought several items to date from BackMarket and always delighted with them. Love the comms style too! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for tech!

The watch arrived looking great and I was excited to use it. On the first day I noticed the battery draining really fast, went into settings and discovered that the watch was recommending a service because the battery health was below 75%. I am now confused about what exactly refurbishment is if it doesn’t include stuff like a battery service?? I flagged this up and was told to return it for a repair / replacement, so I did, and around a week later the replacement showed up. However, there was no charger in the box this time, despite me returning the charger, and when I contacted backmarket about this they said the seller claimed that there was no charger in the return! Although backmarket said if I was sure they would send a replacement charger anyway, the principle of this has enraged me. What’s more, the new watch’s battery health is 83%, which just feels a little disappointing after already raising this as an issue. I wanted to shop refurbished to save a little money and do better for the environment, but wouldn’t recommend or go for again.
